ModaDivan’s unique patent-pending mechanism system allows you to convert your sofa into a bed within ten seconds at the touch of a button. You can even sit or lie on the ModaDivan safely while the transition is occurring. Some people have claimed to use it to softly stretch their backs when reclining from a sitting position With a zero-degree wall clearance, you can have the ModaDivan right up against the wall. You don’t have to move any coffee tables or even get up to convert your sofa into a bed. ModaDivan is manufactured in the USA by Elite Leather Co. We are excited to have this company manufacturing this new line of furniture. Elite Leather has been based in southern California since its inception in 1959 and has enjoyed being an American manufacturer with strong ties to its employees and the community at large. Its facility includes a 100,000 square foot factory with cutting edge efficiencies, unequaled quality and consistent on-time delivery. The factory utilizes state-of-the art manufacturing, machinery and techniques without compromising the bench-made craftsmanship that they have been known for almost fifty years. The company also has a specialized R&D Department comprised of experienced craftsmen who have been with the company for over twenty-five years.
Styling & Customization
Designs range from classic traditional to clean contemporary, always remaining consistent with elegant, livable designs. In addition, all are 100% customizable to best suit customers’ needs for project driven designs. Over 200 top-grain leathers, 96 colors of Ultrasuede and over 100 fabrics are available for customizing the ModaDivan. Selections also include an extensive offering of contract/ hospitality suitable coverings, as well as eco-friendly options.
Construction
All alder hardwood frames are fully padded, fully upholstered with sinuous springs in backs and either sinuous springs or coil flex seating suspension. Backs are sewn on, rather than zipped on for a tailored look.
Eco-Friendly Materials
Elite Leather has always strived to implement environmentally responsible manufacturing practices, and offers eco-friendly cover options from organic fabrics to chrome-free leathers. Sustainable construction materials include hemp, wool, and latex.
